Casting means the process of assembling and selecting persons to play various roles in a motion picture, theatrical production etc.
Website refers to the Everybody’s Talking About Jamie Film Casting Call website found at this address: (TBC)
Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) refers to a subsidiary company created for the sole purpose of producing the Film.
Film refers to the planned motion picture being adapted by Warp Films from the theatre show Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
Sheffield and the surrounding areas refers to Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Doncaster, Chesterfield, Worksop, Newark-on-trent, Mansfield, and Rotherham.
GDPR refers to General Data Protection Regulation is a legal framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information of individuals within the European Union (EU).

This is an open casting call. All applicants must be over the age of 16years old.
Applicants aged under 18 years old will need full parental permission or guardian permission. If you are applying or uploading on behalf of someone less than 18years old, you must be their parent or guardian or have the applicant’s parent/guardian’s permission. Warp Films and Shaheen Baig Casting will verify all applicants ages, and all parent/guardians of applicants less than 18 years old will be contacted.
Applicants must enter a valid address and geographical telephone number or mobile number or if under 18 years of age, a valid address and geographical telephone number or mobile number of the applicant’s parent or guardian.
Please note that using non-geographical numbers or incorrect addresses is likely to be deemed an attempt to manipulate the Casting Search and, in such applications, will be deemed invalid.
The Everybody’s Talking About Jamie: The Film Casting website will be open for applications on the Wednesday 30th May 2018 at 16:00.
The closing date for the Casting Call is: 22nd July 2018 at midnight. All applications must be submitted through the Everybody’s Talking About Jamie: The Film Casting website: www.jamiefilmcasting.com
Any applications sent via other means will not be considered, unless agreed prior to submission with Warp Films.
The material you submit must not be defamatory, blasphemous, obscene or in contempt of court. It must not breach any contract, duty of confidence or right of privacy.
Submission via the website and compliance with these terms and conditions does not in any way constitute an offer for a role in the film.
Successful shortlisted applicants will be contacted by Shaheen Baig Casting by email or telephone.
Shaheen Baig Casting and Warp Films decisions regarding selection are final. There are several stages to the casting process for the film.
The first step will be to review all applications which are submitted via the website.
We will consider everyone who applies equally.
Applicants may be selected and invited to submit further videos or attend an audition at a time and location to be decided at the sole discretion of Warp Films.
Warp Films and Shaheen Baig Casting will be unable to notify or provide any feedback to unsuccessful applicants.
If you have not heard from us by Monday 6th August 2018 this unfortunately means you have not been successful this time.
UPDATE: Due to the incredible response to our casting call it will take us longer than normal to get back to you all. If you have not heard from us by Friday 31st August unfortunately you have not been successful this time.
If you are selected for the next stage Shaheen Baig Casting will contact you or, if under 18, your parent/guardian to discuss the next steps. If you are under 18, selection to take part in the casting process may be dependent on consents being obtained, if needed, from schools and/or local authorities.
The information given by you in your application may be used at a later date in the Film should you be selected to audition.

Warp Films will collect and process the personal information that you provide for the purpose of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie Film Casting Search which will be used by our team to process the applications and cast certain actors for the Film, provisionally titled, EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE.
This personal data will be shared with two approved companies, Shaheen Baig Casting who will be processing and casting the film alongside Warp Films, and JoiPolloi, used by Warp Films to provide the uploading technology and moderation services and to process applications.
The information you provide will not be shared with any other third parties outside of Warp Films without your prior permission. We are committed to protecting your privacy and honouring the integrity of your personal information. We do not sell any information collected through this Website.
Where you have provided Warp Films with content, please be aware that you may be identifiable from this content.
We take precautions to ensure the security of personal information submitted by users. Unfortunately, no electronic communication over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to take care to protect your personal information, Warp Films cannot warrant the security of any information that you submit to us, and you do so at your own risk. However the submissions Website where all your data will be stored is compliant with the new GDPR Regulations which came into effect on the 25th May 2018. Warp Films is a GDPR compliant company. If your application is successful and you are invited to submit to the next stage, Warp Films will store the application and personal information for 7 years in line with our standard retention policy. If your application is not successful, the contribution and personal information will be deleted on or before the 31st January 2020.
